The fifth volume in this series is by John Prentice.

The cover page of other volumes

Volume 2 :

Volume 3 :

Volume 4 consists of 10 gems of Rip kirby stories . The title name are as follows

1) Stark night of the soul

2) Two men and a baby

3) The eyes of kismet kildare

4) Carno's Carnivores

5) Hep to the Jive

9) Zero Tolerance

10) Cat amongst the pigeons

My favorite one is Two men and a baby .

As far of my cognizant , none of these stories appeared in our Lion comics .May be in Muthu or Indrajal or Malaimathi comics.I am one of the many disappointed fans when editor said there will be no more Rip Kirby series for some time. At least we can give one more chance in a year for him.He is real worth for it.

I am sure very much that one day we will get our tamil comics like this in format of hard cover with volume collection of any one of our comics heroes like this .Waiting for that C-Day :)

It is rather unforuntate that such a skillful writer and artist Alex Raymond died in a car crash in september 1956 at an age of 46 only .Rest of Rip Kirby series art work was taken over by John Prentice.
